Privacy at HomesteadDeadlines
The deadline pages are public and do not require an account. The site does not ask for a Social Security number, driver’s license number, parcel number, street address, document upload, or eligibility answers.
Calendar reminders are static files
Eligible county pages link directly to a prebuilt .ics file. Downloading one does not submit an email address, create an account, call a reminder provider, write to a database, or store subscriber data in the browser.
What a calendar file contains
Each available file contains one county-specific all-day deadline event, the official source URL, the date that deadline field was verified, and display alerts 60, 30 and 7 days before the event. It contains no recurrence, post-deadline alert, email address, attendee, mailing address, affiliate link or advertising link.
A county gets no calendar file when its date is missing, stale, blocked, conflicted, unconfirmed, variable, event-relative, weekend/holiday-observed or otherwise unsafe to turn into one real date. The site does not infer a county date from a general state rule or from silence.
Site measurement and contact
The static site may use aggregate traffic and product-event measurement to learn whether pages and links work. Calendar contents, eligibility answers and document contents must not be sent in those events. This static reminder path has no subscriber list or public postal-address dependency.
What this site is
HomesteadDeadlines is not a government website and is not affiliated with any appraisal district, assessor’s office or county tax office.
Applying for a homestead exemption with your county is free. We do not file it for you, we do not charge you anything, and we never ask you to pay to apply.
Deadlines and eligibility are set by the county or state office linked from each deadline page and are governed by its current notices. This page was verified on 2026-08-07.
